Team NOHA & GNML Roster Selected for OMHA Eastern AAA Showcase

North Bay, ON – November 9, 2017 – The Northern Ontario Hockey Association (NOHA) in conjunction with the Great North Midget League (GNML) is pleased to announce the 38 players (4 goaltenders, 12 defencemen, 22 forwards), born in the year 2002 who have been selected to participate as part of two Team NOHAs at the OMHA Eastern AAA Showcase to be held from December 2 to 3, 2017 at the Aurora Community Centre in Aurora. The players will be separated into two equal rosters (Team NOHA Red and Team NOHA White) and will each play in three games, including the Team NOHA Red vs. Team NOHA White intrasquad game. OHF Championship Hosts Announced

CAMBRIDGE, ON – Ten minor hockey associations have been selected as the hosts for the 2018 OHF Championships, to be held April 13-15, 2018. The selections were approved at the OHF Minor Council meeting, this past weekend. Established in 1981, the Esso Medals and Certificates of Achievement program celebrates the young players you're proud to have on your team - who make everyone around them better. To date, nearly two million medals of achievement and almost 10 million certificates of participation have been awarded to young boys and girls on behalf of Esso. Under the program, three medals of achievement for most improved, most dedicated, and most sportsmanlike player are available to every hockey team registered with Hockey Canada.
