Team NOHA at OHL Cup

Team NOHA has completed a strong and exciting Round Robin at OHL Cup! Team NOHA won their debut game against the Kitchener Rangers 4-1, with goals by Devon Savignac, Mitchell Martin, Zacharie Giroux, and Josh Kavanagh. Game 2 saw a goal by Chase Stillman against the Whitby Wildcats, who ultimately won the game with a score of 3-1. Playing against the undefeated Toronto Redwings, Team NOHA fell behind early by two goals, but Jack Matier and Devon Savignac both scored and brought it to a tie for the second period. Canadian Tire First Shift Hosting Applications Open to April 1

Hockey Canada is now accepting applications from Minor Hockey Associations to host the Canadian Tire First Shift in the 2019/20 Season. The Canadian Tire First Shift is a six-week “Try Hockey” Program, where new hockey players are fitted head to toe in Bauer gear and receive six ice sessions focused on teaching technical skills all for $199.00. The main outcome of this program is to recruit new hockey players to your organization. The Northern Ontario Hockey Association is pleased to announce that a Hockey Trainers Certification Program (HTCP) Level III Clinic has been scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 25, 2019 in Sudbury as part of the 2019 NOHA Development Weekend.
