The Northern Ontario Hockey Association would like to congratulate the eight NOHA players and three former NOHA players that were chosen in the 2017 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection Draft on Saturday, April 8th, 2017.

These players join other NOHA Alumni to be taken in the OHL Priority Selection Draft, such as Ryan Kujawinski (Current member of the Albany Devils, Drafted in 2011 OHL Priority Selection), Ken Appleby (Current member of the Albany Devils, Drafted in 2011 OHL Priority Selection), Tyler Bertuzzi (Current member of the Grand Rapids Griffins, Drafted in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection), Michael Amadio (Current member of the Ontario Reign, Drafted in the 2012 OHL Priority Selection), Blake Speers (Current member of the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, Drafted in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection), Cameron Lizotte (Current member of the Erie Otters, Drafted in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection), and Owen Headrick (Current member of the Erie Otters, Drafted in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection).
