North Bay, ON – November 6, 2018 – The Northern Ontario Hockey Association (NOHA) in conjunction with the Great North Midget League (GNML) is pleased to announce the 39 players (4 goaltenders, 13 defencemen, 22 forwards), born in the year 2003 who have been selected to participate as part of two Team NOHAs at the OMHA Eastern AAA Showcase to be held from December 1 to 2, 2018 at the Aurora Community Centre in Aurora.

The players will be separated into two equal rosters (Team NOHA Red and Team NOHA White) and will each play in three games, including the Team NOHA Red vs. Team NOHA White intrasquad game.

The players were selected based on game evaluations from the Under-15 Camp in August. Players were also selected based on evaluations with their club team by Team NOHA Director of Operations, Mark Seidel and Team NOHA Head Coach, Kyle Brick throughout the early parts of the season.

Team NOHA will compete at three events throughout the season. The OMHA ETA Showcase in December, the OHL Cup in March, and the OHL Gold Cup in May, which is the first step in Hockey Canada’s Program of Excellence, the Program that concludes with the World Junior Hockey Championship.
